Does the first day of school look the same everywhere? Join Julia and Marcin on a journey through eight countries and discover how children begin the school year around the world!

Start with a first-day ceremony in Poland, step into a French classroom, and hear the first school bell in Italy. Explore back-to-school shopping in Egypt and meet new students among Japan’s cherry blossoms. Discover a musical welcome in New Zealand, school orientation in the USA, and keepsake photos in Canada.

“Hello, School!” is a free special edition of The Nice Family – Around the World series, created for children ages 8–12. This 10-page booklet includes eight coloring illustrations, each accompanied by a short description of local back-to-school traditions.

All illustrations use our MEDIUM EASY difficulty level, with clear outlines and large and medium-sized coloring areas. Julia and Marcin accompany readers throughout the booklet, inviting them to explore what schools around the world have in common and what makes them different.

The booklet combines coloring, travel, and cultural discovery. Enjoy it as a relaxing activity at home or use it to support educational activities about the beginning of the school year.

Download the free PDF, print your favorite pages or the whole booklet, and get your colored pencils ready! Single-sided printing is recommended. This is a digital download to print yourself, not a physical book.
